Water is of major importance to all living things!!
The human body is made up of approximately 60% water, the brain is composed of 70% water, and the lungs are nearly 90% water. Lets talk about lean muscle tissue it contains about 75% water by weight; the dreaded body fat contains about 10% water and the human bone has 22% water.
About 83% of our blood is water, which plays a vital role in total health, water helps digest our food, transport waste, and regulates body temperature. Each day humans must replace 2.4 litres of water, some through drinking and the rest taken by the body from the foods eaten.
Does the type of water you drink make a difference?
Yes! Because water is so important the type of water you drink does make a difference. Most drinking water from the tap has chemicals in it like chlorine and fluoride and lye and are poisonous in and of themselves and yet it is put into our drinking water. And therefor into our bodies and does have a negative effect over time no mater how small the quantities. (see video)
What is the Best kind of water to drink?
You want to drink water that is going to help you achieve optimal health. Therefor the water you drink should be electrolyzed (passing water through electrically charged titanium and platinum plates that separates the water into acid and alkaline streams) the acid is disposed of leaving you alkaline, micro clustered (smaller water molecules that are able to efficiently penetrate the cells quicker providing essential nutrients and removing acid waste products.) So then if drinking water is important does it mater when you drink water?
Yes! there are specific times that drinking water will maximize the effects on the body.
1.) Drinking 2 glasses of water right after waking up helps activate internal organs and rehydrate the body.
2.) Drinking 1 glass of water 45 minutes before a meal and 30 minutes after helps digestion. The reason for this is that if you drink water or soda, beer, etc. with your meal the hydrochloric acid that your stomach produces to digest the food will be diluted. Hindering the ability to extract the proper nutrients and fully digest your food. (One of the leading causes of indigestion)
